Growing with Care competition.

Earlier this year every Guild received a pack of sunflower seeds to allow them to take part in the Growing with Care sunflower competition.   The response was overwhelming!   More than 100 entries were submitted from Shetland to Kelso.   Scotland was split into four geographical areas and a prize awarded to the tallest sunflower from each region.

A number of Sunday Schools also took part so it was decided to have a category just form them.   The winners were Symington and Craigie Church in Ayrshire who also received one of the specially commissioned plates.

Look at the pictures our Sunday school children drew on Sunday 22 September.
